Sury, you should submit that watchama...whatever shot to the birds in flight challenge.

Re: Birds 2013
Thank you, David, Andy and Doc. I will submit though with much trepidation after
looking at the posts there already. Since we are "family", why not?
With best regards,
Sury

Very nice images you are submitting as you venture into the world of birds sury! This is indeed a male Mallard or Wild Duck. Great lighting and plumage details you caught!

Aha, Sury, you are getting accustomed to whatchamacallit...
Nice catches. But still, you have to clean the sensor.

I opened up a Flickr account this morning and reprocessed a few of my favorite bird shots. As I learned a few things over the years about post processing I thought it worthwhile to post some examples here.

Re: Birds 2013
Wowser Mark! Those are some cracking shots. Lovely detail in all of them. I like the second one especially, probably because I am such a sucker for great bokeh
. I have sent you a contact message on Flickr. I think you will find the Doc, KB, John, Caporip and several others have a presence there. (Great for sharing pictures, but I prefer the discussion here
.)
