More marvellous portraits . I am so impressed with the way that KB's and the Doc's shots capture so much of a person in a 2d representation. Something to do with the connection through the eyes.

Do I detect a very fine grain in the image Doc? The skin texture seems to be making the image come alive.

Hello guys,
I have some portrait shots but this one is my favorite not only because this is my grandmom but it shows the traditional look of a hindu married woman with a happy look- traditional sari, part of which turn into scarf , vermilion on forehead whcih is the symbol of married woman in hindus. This portrait has won some prizes in different contests held in India and online contests too.. i have sold many prints of this image also and those money goes to my grand mom and every time i give her the prize or money, she give me smile in the same way as in this pic
