A very nice portrait indeed. Well done Saurabh.

This one is a self portrait dating from 1982 (most probably), shot with a Kiev-17 and a Helios-81 which is a 52mm f/2.0 lens (odd name, won't you agree). As for the used film, it was probably an ISO 64 (ASA 64) soviet film (what else could we find then?)
And NO, I wasn't really smoking

The farmer pictures are amazing. I find them a tad too saturated. Are they straight off the camera?
As for your question on which lens for portrait, I take shots with whatever I have on the body. I am
just a rank amateur hobbyist.

Thank you mark and sury. Sury, i take raw images and then if necessary i increase the vibration slightly in lightroom. The 1st one id obtained from raw and yes i had probably enhanced the vibration slightly ( i usually don't touch saturation in lightroom) but the 2nd one is directly from camera.. it was takedn as jpeg. even my grand mom's portrait was also taken as jpeg
