"Flow gently, sweet Ose, among thy green braes, ..."

Unread post by Birma »

(with apologies to Robert Burns!)

The Ose river, more of a burn or stream really, runs past my in-law's house on the Isle of Skye and so it inevitably gets featured on quite a few pictures. Here is a sample from the recent visit.

The burn, on another beautiful blue-sky morning, with Osedale House in the background.

Just before the Ose runs in to Loch Bracadale, and then the sea.

The Ose a bit further upstream.

Last time I came close to Bobby Burns was at a pub crawl a colleague arranged on his birth anniversary.

Very nice landscapes and all of them make me want to go see them. I am not sure if the blue skies are common
occurrence or you got lucky. I am not too familiar with the weather pattern over there.

Hi Sury - my fault - I should have said that these were on Skye :) Blue skies have been pretty rare in the South of the UK in recent months, but the Isle of Skye has been having great weather by all accounts. It was the driest I have ever seen it there.

Ah man, the Isle of Skye looks like such a beautiful place! You (re)present it well with all of your photographs the last couple of years Andy!

I notices something else about your topics Andy: the titles are as creative as the content :-)
