All are very interesting photos!

Here is one a few days ago of a bunch of spider eggs hatching. They were quite small. This was taken with the G15 from about 2cm.

The window frame seems to be horizontal, but the outer edges are at an angle.
That is quite an illusion. Or I have to cut back on my Friday intake of spirits. The
hangovers are doing a number on me.
By the way, I like the shot though.

Thanks Sury I didn’t take enough care with the shot basically, I wanted an exposure and unlocked the ball head to get it then didn’t re-check that the level hadn’t been affected, then later I decided just to straighten it and leave it as it wasn’t all that important a shot anyway, just something to do on a Sat night.

I guess ever since Henry "expanded" the borders of a backyard and Yildiz legitimized it by
labeling it as "global backyards", I guess a few from the front yard, however paltry in area,
are withing the scope or at the least in the spirit of the thread, me thinks.

For the first time, I experimented with ND8 filter, instead of f16/1/4000 range settings on CZ24-70
given the bright light out there.

An interesting variety Sury, the flower up high in the first looks big for a tree flower, btw it looks like sunlight has gotten directly on the front of the filter producing the haze, I guess it makes the bright sunlight look more realistic anyway.

Ps Even though I was standing on a painters plank 12’ above the ground at the back corner of the house, technically the flies I shot (in the rude photo) were in the side yard (don’t tell anyone).

Obviously a rookie mistake. I must pay (more) attention to light when using filters. Check.
Yes, they are very big and were on top of the tree. When I took the shot, Sun was NOT
behind me but not completely above either. I will try tomorrow in the morning and see if the
shot is captured differently. My neighbor guessed them to be Mulberry flowers. I wouldn't know
one berry from the other unless they are in a Margarita.

As for your side yard, we are all exonerated by Yildiz's pronouncement about global backyards.
As a good measure, I assure you, your secret is safe.

Those palms don't seem to be surviving very well Henry, more desiccated fronds, (they are alive aren't' they?) and that's what I need a garden hose that won't kink.
