This is the view from Mesa Arch, one of the most photographed arches in the United States. Washerwoman Arch is visible in these images. Canyonlands National Park, Island in the Sky in Utah can be an awe inspiring place.
Wow. What a rugged landscape. Nice capture.I visited Arches National Park 25 years ago and still remember
it as if it was last year. That is one rough terrain but a mother lode for photography.
Thank you for the kind comments. Canyonlands National Park (and the adjacent Dead Horse Point State Park) are a photographer's delight. And with Arches National Park within forty minutes, you can spend weeks in this part of Utah and still not have time to visit everything. As it was, the three mornings I visitied Mesa Arch all resulted in three widely different sunrises. And I have to say thank you, Microsoft, for putting out that Mesa Arch wallpaper that made me want to visit that part of Utah.
