Today I had the meeting with sony-canada representative "Long Lenses at the Zoo"
Finally got some good shots from my a57 and a99 cameras with Sony 300/2.8 G, 500/4 G.

Oh yes!

Very heavy. I did this shot with a99 500/f4 from the hand, it was a something.

Valery, were you shooting from a net like fence? I ask, because in the first shot (Lion), the OOF area reveals some net like appearance. I don't think the 300/2.8 shows anything like that.

Yes, it was a shot thru the heavy metal fence, actually the cage. On the next photo with the tiger you can see the shadow from the cage, but shot been done with Tamron 70-300 USD.
