Thank you so much for all of your kind comments. Here are a couple more.

Here is one from later in the morning what the sun was properly up. The poppies were not as thick in this area, and the white flowers sprinkled between the red are Wild Radish. The Sky Larks sounded great, but as I was quite close to a major road I didn't take any video to share the sound of them unfortunately.

The second shot is a reprieve of the sunrise shot that I posted in the latest Challenge. This is a few minutes later than the other shot, from a slightly different position. Not sure which I prefer. I think I like the sky in the other shot more, but the foreground poppies in this one. :)

Both with A99, first with Sigma 70-300, and second with KM 17-35/2.8-4 (just show I was exploring the full range of focal lengths available to me :) ).

Later-in-the-morning shots with the sun up are also great, Birma; a different, more direct light that shows off all the details in the field. The field shot is especially a wonder because of the low-laden mist to accompany the mystical of the red fields.

Good try-outs of the lenses and the camera. : ) Brilliant!

The last one is nice. I think I would have cropped out the foreground starting with the gap in the left side of the image. It would be more of a panoramic view.
Just saying. Scroll to that point and see what you think.

Birma

As you know from Flickr I think that last shot of the field of poppies is excellent but I am also impressed with the range of shots you've got here.

Birma! As I know working with the red colour it's not easy, but you did great shots!

My little contribution to the gigantic thread of wonder flowers and fields! :D

My one and only Pink Anthurium as it opens up for this year's showing of itself. :) Taking patiently its time as it will unroll into a full-heart shape.

Yildiz

ps. Just curious; why does the photo appear as a thumbnail version of the original photo when uploaded through the website attachment feature? Something new?

The Anthurium is a very interesting looking flower Yildiz and I look forward to future shots of it. Lovely bokeh background in your shot :)
