Mouth watering to say the least. I have saliva marks on my monitor to prove it. :D

Mouth-watering, as Sury aptly said, David Antony. :)

I never ate a veggieburger before and must try one soon. I belive it's tofu? Nice looking tray set up and vegetable plate. Mushrooms are my favourite with any kind of meat. :D

I had visitors, it’s nice to have visitors that come with a job for you to do, don’t you think?
That looks tasty DA, I like mushies too, not sure exactly why though, they are pretty bland if one is honest, it must be the sauce I guess. :D

About a year and a half ago, my friend Christian Yong start a Web Magazine project called Latin Lover Mag (http://www.latinlover.us) that covers food and travel in the USA Latin America and Spain -but not restaurant's reviews...

Next issue will be about Ceviches, not just Peruvian Ceviche but any Ceviche and the way they make it in Latin America. A couple of weeks ago we went to Desnuda Ceviche Bar, in the East Village (122 E 7th St New York, NY 10009) because the Chef Dominique Macquet will be part of a Ceviche tasting Christian is organizing.

This is Dominique:

And after we did the official shoot, dish included, we stay for diner. This is one of the delicious dishes he serve: Tuna with Fois Gras on a bed of caramelized Asian pears...

After this, I don't want to eat anymore...

Great narrative Pako. Could you elaborate why you would not eat any more?
Though I think you meant it as a compliment, I did not want to presume.

Thanks Birma and Sury.
The food, specially this dish, was so amazingly good, that anything else taste like, lets say, ordinary...

Good shots Pako, the dish certainly sounds intriguing and exotic, it might take some re-adjustment for me to get used to the idea of Tuna and caramelized fruit together on the same plate. It certainly looks appetizing though.

Ps The chef doesn’t look too happy.

That's delicious, Pako. :D

I can only imagine the caramelized pear enhance the tuna's taste. Nicely photographed too.

That's a neat web magazine on Latin flavours. : ) I still am looking through some of the pages. Good one!

Since some people subsist on this "food", I hope you take it in "spirit" of the theme.

Grape stomping party at Sterling Vineyard, Calistoga, California.

This is the competition

Our table crushed the competition under their feet (amazing feat indeed).

And here is their fruits of labor after the fair maiden have dealt with the fruit... :D They were fellow
guests and we did not know them apriori.

Fun competition, Sury. :D

In the good old days the stomping was done in huge containers... or so I remember. : )

A touch of the Sun, a touch of the maidens, a touch of the wine gods and grape turned into the enchanting, throat-warming spirit of all times remebered by men.

No driving after the event I presume?

Thanks for sharing this event. : ))

Andy,
You might say I do frequently visit my favorite stomping grounds. :D

Yildiz,
Yes, there was drinking by the missus. Driving by yours truly. You can see
who has water and who has water turned into wine. :) I was the designated driver.

Me and missus.
