Thank you Sury, Birma and mvanrheenen. A couple of years ago we planted a rhus which is really spectacular when it turns red/yellow/orange later on. When it turns, I'll show you!

We planted some Passiflora caerulea (blue passion flower) in our garden. It grows like crazy! I used some off camera lighting as the sun was already down.

All shot with my a580 and CZ16-80. The F43-AM is on manual mode, 24mm, 1/16th power.

Yes it is one of a few we get in my mother's garden, as well as foxes and a good variety of birds. I was about 8' away crouching in the conservatory and I can vouch for their bad eyesight.

That passion flower is an amazing looking bloom Mark - nice lighting, and very interesting to see the set up. Is that a wireless trigger you are using on the bottom of the 43?

Brilliant to see a badger in the garden Richard (although people who are precious about their lawns can get upset with them!). A really nice close-up shot of Mr. or Mrs. Brock

That bad eye sight came in handy! Lovely to see this animal. I never saw one in the wild unfortunately. Not common around these parts.

@Andy: the 43 is triggered by a Pixel Pawn set. Although Sony has its own wireless system a trigger system can be more flexibel.

and this is the best I could get of it.

Mark, that's quite a task going for the flash stand and set up to take photos of your lovely plants. I think you made a good choice, that flower and its leaves are suiting your garden walls very well.
