Thank you Graeme, Greg and Yildiz. I am flattered. Did not think much of them
other than typical "tourist" shots.
These were part of the collection of photos taken during our trip to Italy in
2010. Thanks to Graeme, I am able to post them more coherently. :)

Here are some more, inspired by your comments. :D I am going to back off now. :)

Churches in Rome, and especially in the Vatican have some unbelievable domes enriched with beautiful art. I visited St. Peters in the Vatican where I took the images I posted a few days before. You feel so incredibly humble and tiny in such places of worship. It was an overwhelming experience. When you ever get the chance to see the Rome, take it Graeme. It'll be the best dome addiction fix you'll ever have!

Rome is next on my list of European cities to visit, but second on my wifes. She has her mind set on Barcelona!

Cupola, Gallery of Modern art, Glasgow, 2012. Not as fancy as some, but nice:

I love the details. I can almost feel the texture of the glass. Very nicely done.

Sury

This one is more looking up rather than a dome per se.

Not a dome, but a tower. The Water Tower, Lighthouse Arts Centre, Glasgow.
