I went to Whipsnade Zoo on Sunday afternoon and managed to get the following images (out of a great many more that I took!). All were taken as RAW images and converted to JPEGs using Elements 7. Sony Alpha 700 plus that magnificent beast of a 70-300SSM G lens, which is simply awesome! I'm considering entering a couple of the images into my camera club's prjected images league competition, so would welcome opinions as to which one(s) people prefer and why.
The last 2 images were taken through the glass window of the exhibits, (recent additions) but it doesn't seem to have caused any reflection or distortion.
A lovely series Bluebear - really great expressions in all of them. #1 is appeals, but I'd like to put a vote in for #2, it just says "BEAR!" very loudly to me - as in "time to leave" . I like the way that it fills the frame (would it be possible to remove the top right corrner so it completely filled the frame?).
How is Elements 7? Did you have 6 before, and if so is the upgrade worth it?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
While especially the first two are of excellent quality, I might enter the last one into a project - it is the most unconventional and guides the viewer to a new situation.
I love #3... think it's the pose and the light.. and besides that I like cats in general
