Re: Birds 2013
I think the swan is after the bread but maybe it's "pigeons beware"?

Sury, you do yourself an injustice! With a bit of PP it really is a fine image. With your permission? I hope you don't object...
Do you mind sharing your PP on the image? Once again, thanks for taking time to do the processing.
Much appreciated.
With best regards,
Sury

Watch out Pigeons, I have seen a Swan in action at the zoo here, they can be a bit stroppy now and then.

Good one, Sury. : ) Excited little ones, all theway better by Cogito's little adjustments.
Cogito, nice catch of the moment just moments away from a 'hit' perhaps but things look as though the swan was hungry enough to ignore the pigeon's presence. : )
Valery, amazing shot of the amazing pond and its birds... : ) Just wonderful colours and matchingly beautiful reflections.

Re: Birds 2013
You captured them well, Valery, but I guess the slider went more on the purple side while processing.

Yeah! I know it's looks a weird and an unnatural, but it's a closest color of this birds in the rainy dayDr. Harout wrote:You captured them well, Valery, but I guess the slider went more on the purple side while processing.

I actually liked the birds themselves for the extraordinary looks of the species...lovely bird.
But I can't see them any more, the photos are removed.
Thank you for sharing them while they lasted, Valery. : )

Re: Birds 2013
First, thank for the comments! Actually I did the manual colour adjustment in LR, as Dr. Harout recommended and replaced the picture on Flickr. May be after that some links missing. OK! I can re share the photo again with a new white balance.

Re: Birds 2013
I saw the speckled birds before but I was busy at the time, I thought they were pretty good close ups, it would be nice to know what they were though, a woodpecker maybe?
Greg
Ps the new ones look better.

Greg Beetham! Thank you! It was the Northern Flicker - kind of "a ground woodpecker".
Continue with the birds.

Valery,
Thank you. For my own edification, could you elaborate why you liked the other one?
I am hoping to glean from your (valuable) insight how to expand my own perspective.
For the reference, I have added the image here.
