That was 3x converter, so it would 600mm.

Whew, that's a monster! I suppose you weren't handholding it. Did the IBIS work well with it? These days you can get a small sensor Canon SX50 or Panasonic FZ70 that go up to 1200mm with IS, the Panasonic FZ200 goes to 600mm with f2.8 all the way and IS. All are nice and small. Shooting raw gives pretty good results, I think.

Those were hand held shots, Henry. We have come a long way (zoom wise) in 8 years.
That was in 2005 and Tcon300B was sought by Dimage owners and some guy in Hongkong
made a custom bracket for it. I bought a Tcon60 (?) another Olympus converter (1.4x)
that had a 55mm thread so I could stack it to Tcon300. They worked very well on a tripod
for my many moon shots. My A1 died the sensor death and bought a used A2 that is still with
me. In 2006 I got my A100 and since then A2 is used once or twice a year just to test it.
The converters are still with me and though thought of selling them, couldn't bring myself
to do it.

Thanks, Tony. Those 3 were in the same vicinity, but not in the same spot. I was walking along the river and took a few shots as I walked. The river water is very clear and it comes out of the ground from the Edwards Aquifer.

Here is one from late today as the sun was quite low in the sky. These are the same Bald Cypress trees on the Guadalupe River, but in better light than before. Canon G15 this time.

Those trees are really great-looking, especially the way they wrap around the banks of the river like to prevent any land fall.

The plastic sort of resembles a wedding dress maybe, but the relationship of where the waist is and the hips looks a bit wonky, still it’s funny how things are associated by the mind or notice similarities trying to make sense of things automatically, like sometimes you see cloud shapes which are completely random that resemble objects or faces too.
