Anything that floats or it did once

Unread post by sury »

Since Yildiz missed ships based on her comment in "looking up" thread, I thought why not start
a thread that relates to anything that floats or floated once. Please feel free to add your own collection.

Always exhilerating seeing these vessels of water, Sury. :D

Good idea for a thread.

Lovely first entires and I have to admit I like the second photo for its vertical elements...as well as similarities.

Graeme, I love your interpretation of the them. :)
Nice dramatic skies Henry. I am wondering would the skies be more dramatic in color.
I love the perspective on the last one Mark. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Sury! I like boats like that, because they've already sunk, and I'm a landlubber!

The images from Mark are beautiful, especially the first one. A great landscape.

Graeme,
Those are some gritty reminders of the past. Nice captures.

How is this for size?

Thanks, Sury. It's an old harbour about 5 miles from me, with half a dozen (roughly) hulks in various states of decay. More to come!

That is a bit bigger than any of my boats!
