Freedom Tower in NYC

Unread post by Sparkie1263 »

I took a ride before sunset to get a few images of the Freedom Tower in New York City. These were taken across the river from Jersey City.

Took this one through the windshield when I stopped at the light.

Wow - that is one hell of a building! Great shots Frank. I take it that is a memorial in the foreground in the first one?

I always find it surprising how many time the Twin Towers come up in old films. I saw Crocodile Dundee, of all things, the other night and there were the towers in the New York establishing shots again. I think it is good to be reminded of these things sometimes.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I lived in NYC my whole life and it is hard to look at the NY Skyline and not see the old buildings standing there. That is a steal from the building.

Thanks

Very impressive shots, Sparkie1263.

I love the sharpness and the striking bold lines of the skyscrapers under this particular light. They probably wouldn't look as good in a different light durig the day....but it's a guess of course. : )

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz
