Let's post some panoramas

I need some help.

I use Microsoft ICE for stitching panoramas. Biggest gripe is the output it produces/I produce with it.

I save the image to disk as a TIFF and import back into PS/LR. When I look at the stitch at 100% I get this:



What am I doing wrong or don't I get about this process?

I never had any problems with the output. I do export to disk and chose the file type.
You can also set the scale and quality. I had to scale down couple of times since ADOBE PS7
could not handle more than 2GB file sizes.
I think after certain size (very large) it does not give you jpeg option. I had jpegs stored
upto 180MB files. I can send you a PM with my steps later in the evening from home.
I have done about 200 or so stitches with it without any glitch.

Thank you for the information.

I think I found my flaw: I stitched directly from RAW files

If I process the RAW files first, export them to TIFF and then stitch those I have no problem.

I feel so stupid now

Aah!!! I seldom use RAW by force of habit. So it did not even occur to me that the input could
be the problem. I am glad it worked out.

We were at Hoover Dam on the Arizona/Nevada border a couple of days ago. Here is a panorama I made. The first is just a thumbnail, the second link is a larger version.

Great vantage point for a shot of the dam Henry, I was wondering where you shot it from myself, I thought H must have hung from one of them cables one handed.

Ps wow wouldn’t that have been cool working on the concreting of the uncompleted arch with all that weight hanging from some cables, I wonder how much work got done with that view, especially the down direction view.

FWIW, Pat Tillman is from neighborhood and went to local high school, in Almaden Valley, San Jose, California.
He was recruited by Arizona Cardinals (American) Football team and lost his life in Afghanistan in a friendly fire.

A few years ago a shot like that would have to be from a helicopter. There is a parking area on the Nevada side of the bridge and then you walk through a tunnel going through the rock and come out to a walkway on the bridge. We walked across so we could see the view and to take photos.

Well, I will let those who enjoy that kind of work with the view do it. I wonder if a lot of the workers up there were American Indians? Maybe you know about the Skywalkers who cavalierly moved around way up high working on the New York City skyscrapers.
