Tourist for Day

Unread post by Almazar80 »

It was a warm, sunny weekend here in the Washington D.C. area. Finally! So on a lazy Sunday afternoon, it was a perfect time to play tourist and walk by the Lincoln Memorial. Here are some images:

2. The Crimson Sky

3. The Lincoln Memorial at Dusk

Thanks for looking.

Wow. Great shots. I love the second one the most.
Barely a week ago the place was snowed in. Wasn't it?

Thanks for the kind words. It is finally warming up here. The snow is gone! Of course, we'll have one cold day this week, but the rest of the week is fairly mild. A month before the chrerry blossoms come out.

Awesome dark shots, right in my alley! And Sury is right, second one is the best (because of human figures) :-)

+1 for number two - I really like the two figures as well - and a great sky! :)

I like all 3 tho' the white streak rising from the Lincoln Memorial is a bit of a bummer. Still, the light was right!
