Looks like the garden of someone who likes to tinker . More fun than mowing I guess.

I think you are right. He (I am assuming that it is a he. ) has lots of stuff in the empty lot next to his house. I went by there several times over the course of 4 months hoping to find someone out there working on the stuff. I envisioned a sweaty guy with an old t-shirt or maybe shirtless. I wanted to get a photo of him among it all. I never saw anyone though. The light on this morning that I took the photo was particularly nice. If I had found him some other time then he would have been there, but the light wouldn't have been so good. Oh well.

Great stuff Sury, as a plane nut I like those shots a lot, I think the B1 is a much nicer looking plane than the B2.

Back a few years they had an air display here and there were some USAF F16’s, KC10’s and a couple of B52’s for maneuvers (I think there was a separate plane for a USMC band too, I think there was a parade for the Corel Sea battle) at the time so there was our Air Force planes and those US ones on display too.
Some funny guy had a section of the tarmac roped off and the full size outline and filled in painted in black on the concrete of the F117 including a sign hanging on the rope about its performance and proclaiming how stealthy it was, so stealthy you couldn’t even see it, only it’s shadow was visible, this was back in the day when the plane was still pretty much secret.

Sury, I like those too. I haven't seen any of those planes myself (except in photos and TV). In the 1970s and 1980s I saw the Blue Angels (Navy) and Thunderbirds (Air Force) several times and before the aerial show there would also be various military airplanes on the tarmac that the public was allowed to look at. Probably somewhere I have a few old photos from back then, but I haven't seen them for many years and didn't uncover them during my massive scanning project I went through a few months ago.

After much ado I found a negative of that F117 ‘shadow’ and have done a scan, it’s not much good there is sort of slight brown staining in the blue sky, age I suppose. But there is a leetle problem, it was taken with a Bronica so it sort of doesn’t qualify for the ‘Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread’ I guess I’d better post it somewhere else…but where?

The repeating pattern of the nose cones looks great - it would make an interesting tight crop. Nice shot of the UAV; they are a bit past experimental now !
