I like the skydiver with the flag Sury, (rather courageous I think) packing one’s chute with a flag in among the shrouds would be something I’d try to avoid.

I agree about the predator, I remember thinking at the time what exactly is the point of it?

Ha while I was typing this post up you posted the replacement for the double up of the Thunderbird shot, good one too and so is the replacement.

I think the salary guy was relaxing a tad more than I ever got to relax in my lunch hour Henry.

Notice: The image below is NOT from a small sensor camera, it’s from an MF film camera, which just shows that a small sensor digicam can take just as good or better images quite often, (although in its defense the MF film camera is pretty good at individual people shots just the same).

I got diverted onto doing a 200Km trip (long story, I ended up in a museum of nick nacks from a bygone era in an old gold mining town as well, took a couple of photos).

I was about to post this photo last night finally and noticed the scanner had not done a very good job of it with the default settings colour wise, too much saturation/contrast actually, it needed to be re-done. So at long last I’ll post it, such as it is, best I can do.

A nice scan as well. Nice to see a MF picture, even if this isn't quite the right thread. Although, how big is the sensor in that scanner? Perhaps is qualifies through that route?

Greg, for my walkaround camera I have always been trying to keep it fairly small and light. Then for your walkaround camera you carried a Bronica ETRS. Did you keep it in your pocket so you always had it just in case? Thanks for posting. Scan of color negative or transparency?

Thanks Sury and Birma, yeah I never thought of the sensor in the scanner idea, it might only be a 2/3rd sensor or something, I’ll hold onto that.

Ha ha, it fits just nice in the hip pocket of a pair of jeans, no H it is definitely not a travel cam, it is not even good to carry around for much of a day, I bought an Optec Video Pro neck strap for it long ago and that was a great boon. The problem with that particular compact camera is the giant mirror (it's a reflex) that goes 'clunk' when you press the shutter button. It's not so bad on a tripod you can actually shoot pretty decent sharp scenes off a tripod but freehand without any kind of IBIS or stand you have to watch the shutter speed.
The ETRSi had mirror lockup so that would be even better.

No, it's not Werewolf of London, It's french Poodle in Winnipeg after had good time with my Old English Sheep dog.The dogs had fun. You can see how clean they are.

there are some great shots in this thread. Here's my contribution. These were taken with a Panasonic Lumix FZ100. I hope that qualifies as a small sensor. The waterfall picture is way out of level because I was hanging my camera out over the edge while trying to hold it steady enough for the shot.
