That is some weapon Birma, A99 + 70-400G does a very nice job indeed (135STF too); it would do a good job on birds too one would think if there were any around that you could get in range of.
I see one guy on dpr has a ‘magic stump’ out in the bush; he’s cultivated the birdlife (the seedeaters anyway) to come too the stump when he puts birdseed on top, it attracts a few birds of different types to shoot at, seems to work good, I don’t know how long it took to train the birds though.

I quite liked the composition when I first looked at it Sury, but now you mention it maybe the flower and the hornet could move a little to the right but not much, great hornet too btw.

Sury, that is a really nice shot with the yellow flower against the contrasting bacground, which is even better with the insect life arriving. As Greg suggests, it would be worth experimenting with some different crops as well.

Greg, you're right that that combo would be great for birds. I've not invested the hours to learn the stalking skills to get near enough to them. May be this year when the flowers are over. The feeding station sound a great idea. I've heard of that being used for red squirrels in Scotland as well.
