Hi,

Been a while since I last posted any images but here goes something meaningful for raising awareness on the health concerns relating to coal thermal power plants in the world generally. The GREENPEACE sailing ship Rainbow Warrior III is now anchored right in front of me, a few miles away, mind you, on the Anatolian coast of the Bosphorus. They've been there for a couple of days now and the yellow banners read: "Where there's coal, there's no health".

And speaking of rainbows, here's a tiny arch of a rainbow tucked in the clouds that I shot over the Bosphorus Strait a while back.

An interesting article on the Rainbow Warrior, Yildiz. Two lovely pictures as well. It is great to see the Bosphorus again, i have missed it. I especially like the way that the cloud seems to be holding the rainbow - lovely colours.

great contrast in the sky and between the sky and the ground.

It's a little unusual for us to have a nice long fall, but this year we did. However it's all over now. I just got home from work and it was -14f (-25.5c) outside. Nearly got frostbite snapping this shot. With the clear sky I'm sure the next few hours will show a continued drop in temps. It's hard to believe that just 3 days ago it was in the 60's (around 17c).

Love the starry sky. Boy, it sounds cold! Still pretty mild here in the UK.
