I took this while sitting close to the feeder. Exposure was 1/160th with flash. I was surprised that some of the bird at least was in focus. First is a juvenile or female Booted Racket-tail.
This is a Sword-billed Hummingbird. He has to have good aim because obviously he can't perch and feed.
Great timing there Pitter. I wish the shutter speed on the second was a tad lower to catch
the wings (blurry of course). As I see it, it looks like propped by the beak than hovering.
