This is Nilgiri Tahr (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nilgiri_tahr)
I had 70-400 on Camera when this group started showing up. The park
would have been closed in another week or so after my visit to facilitate
the breeding/birthing of these goats (?).

At the outset, welcome to the forum.
Regarding your question, that was Sony 70-400G (older lens).
I believe there is a 70-400G II available now.

I had to do a double take on this one as I was left to wonder how you might facilitate such an activity. My reading skills are less than stellar.

JB,
What I intended to convey was that I was able to visit the the park before the deadline
to shutdown the access to the park. In other words, I barely (no pun intended)
made it. I have not facilitated in any "other" way towards the breeding/birthing of these
goats.

But you already know that.

Blame it on my language skills. My defense is I come from India and hence it is
not my first language.

Also, I blame the language itself. It is so ambiguous by definition. When I say you have
good sense of humor, one is not sure whether you laugh at my jokes or you tell good jokes.

I laugh at my own shortcomings only.

The Naval Academy used to operate a dairy farm in Gambrills, Maryland. It was established in 1911. It now operates as an organic farm. A friend of mine gave me a tour. Follow the link to some of the images I saved.
