Very pleasant to look at, with that pastel background. I wonder what the conversation between
the two on the right. Talking behind the back of the one that took off, hmmm!hiccup!
Now looks like they disagreed on what was said earlier...
The background gives the feeling of immense openness though
I would have liked a bit more contrast in the birds to separate them
from the background.
Are those Sandhill Cranes? Wonderful shots. And Sury those are great flight captures (look like adult California Gulls). My bird with a beetle is an Andean Mot Mot I snapped this morning. They all pull off the feathers that they can reach from their tail. Very curious custom.
The last bird shots are very impressive for both birds' species and the details you were able to achieve by getting so close, especially with the last one; gorgeous sheen on the turquoise plumage.
And I believe that the long, bare-shafted racket tipped feathers are innate to the nature of the first bird which is the Blue-crowned motmot.
Tsk, tsk, Pitter. That is really poor photography. Red eye - in this day and age of modern technology?
Your redemption is to practise more and post more. Let's see if you improve over next dozen or so of
your attempts, at the least.
