Hi Valery,

I think I like these better than the aerial shot. Lovely from-ground-up shots of the entrance and the garden premises. Love the cistern on the right interacting with the garden lights. Very warm colours.

Sury I was talking about the first one with the light rays coming through the trees. I believe it was the Mendocino one.

Ah, thank you. I was driving and came across the scene. I stopped the car in the middle of the road (it was far less travelled), rolled down my window and shot the image. I may have bracketed the shot. I was quite pleased with it as you were, thank you.

I believe Yildiz was referring to this (modified now per her suggestion) shot where the small portion jutting into water on the left hand side was soft and she was wondering it was due to lens flare or even light reflection.

Hi RareTA;

Sury is right about the photos I actually was referring to. To clarify further, the shot where the Sun's rays beam down through the trees along the road is a beautiful shot and naturally the rays should never be removed. In fact, they are what make the shot what it is: beautiful.

Here's what I meant:
(Sury, I hope you don't mind the few lines I had to draw to clarify what I mean)

The two lens flare spots that I spoke of earlier. Their removal may improve the shot...

And the photo which gives the impression that there's actually a type of flare acting on it. But when I further studied the shot, I also came to the conclusion that it actually might be due to the shape of the rock formation on the left.
