I owned a Minolta 600mm back ion 2007. This is the first keeper image that I took with it. I had to rest it on a bean bag on the top of my car. Sold the lens after a year or two of frustration for the same amount that I paid for it.
P.S. It's even got some gold in it.

I guess the the bird is in shadow in the first one is due to back lighting?
Could LR help you with bird? Just curious.

yes back lighting. If anything, I would make the bird darker. It is just short of silhouette and I probably should have bridged the gap. It's all about mood.

I agree. It is all about the mood it conveys as seen/intended by YOU, the photographer.
The warmth comes through the image, never the less.

The end of the country on the east side. Ocean City Maryland while on a trip with my father. I recall taking several shots in an attempt to get some waves crashing. If I had to guess, it would be circa 2006/2007.

February of 2010 brought some of the heaviest snowfall that we had experienced in years. What is the first thing you do when you dig out? Visit your golf club of course. After all, what does terrible weather do except to make you wish for better weather.
