Across the Bridge

Unread post by jbtaylor »

Took an afternoon trip to Maryland's Eastern Shore yesterday. These images come from the Marriott Resort in Cambridge and a roadside stand and playground that is getting their fall festivities on.
Playing with the RX1 and polarizer as well as new post processing techniques.
Enjoy.

Rather than wait, and for time management purposes, here are the rest.
These shots are in preparation for a weekend trip through central and southern Virginia that I will be taking in mid-October. More on that later.

Thank you. Getting used to 35mm is difficult but carrying around a camera that is light yet robust is a real treat.

Last one. Color and detail.

Agree with Ken. 1,3,5,6 are my most favorites.

All really nice, but I especially like 3, 6 and 7. Really like the blue skies you have captured.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Thanks Birma. Funny, I thought 3 was the weakest of the bunch (besides 4 which was only an experiment).
Regarding the RX1 and auto ISO, shutter speed goes no lower than 1/80 and then ISO gets bumped. Hand held is not a problem at that speed and the ISO performance is so good that one can shot without fear of noise.
I think I am going to like this camera despite it's focal length limitations.
