With vintage Vivitar 90mm/f2.5 MD mount lens. All hand held shots with builtin flash on A77M2 with MD/MA with glass adapter.

Very nice new flowers. I especially like the funky processing on Valery's second pic

Lovely shots Sury and Valery.
These are some wild Iris growing in the mountains that I was able to capture today.

.
As usual Flowers thread gets a lot of genuine colours.
Very lovely all with different approaches.
Jeff, those are gorgeous wild Irises. When in the wild, flower species always look more beautiful.
Thanks for sharing,

Re: Flowers 2016
Nice Irises Jeff. I like the bokeh in the shot and I would have liked a bit more contrast
in the flowers without messing up the bokeh.

Thanks Yildiz and Sury.
Sury, the flowers in reality were quite pale with a low contrast in the coloring. I even turned down the clarity a tad because the shot seemed a bit harsh to me, but as they say, each to their own.

Went back to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens but this time with a friend that is taking to photography. Didn't take that many shots but morning light and a shallow DOF always makes for some fun.

Hi JBTaylor; : )
The light in the first one really works for the blossom. I like the subtle light and colours in the others as well. Mornings are good times to shoot always.
