I recall that I was watching the Anhinga going into the water and then coming back up over and over. Then one time when he came up he had speared this fish! The darn bird though wouldn't settle down. He was quickly moving his head from side to side and also moving around while standing in the water. I was using the Minolta Alpha 707si + Minolta 100-300mm f4.5-5.6 at 300mm and trying to focus on his moving head/neck, but because of all the movement in and out of the focus point I kept getting the background in focus then the bird in focus then nothing in focus.sury wrote:Henry, that is a heck of a shot, timing wise.
