All that snow looks great! I almost never see snow these days. I saw a lot of snow at Cypress Mountain right outside Vancouver, BC in 2003:david antony wrote:This is what I saw when I opened the blinds in the puter room this morning

That is up on the North Shore during the winter. The waves are sometimes 30 feet or so. I suppose they occasionally are even bigger, but 20-30 feet is what is more common when they have big swells.Greg Beetham wrote:ps. I think I've seen that video of yours before Henry, or one just like it, but come to think of it you didn't speak in the other one, I don't remember you doing so at least so it must be a new one then I think. Where do they have the big waves I've seen in the movies, surfing comps?
Actually, quite the opposite. It was soft. That close-up is almost a macro. It had fallen during the night and I went up to the mountain in the morning when the sun was out. Contrast enhanced.Greg Beetham wrote:I like those late arv shots Henry and the snow ones of course, that closeup looks like broken glass though, it doesn't look soft and fluffy at all..like I imagined it would.
