Cheers Doc, this was from a wedding I shot, with my daughter, a week or so ago. Very poignant day as the groom who is a good friend of mine has terminal (i.e. a year or two at most) cancer. In spite of, or perhaps because of, that it was a very happy day. Keeping to the portrait theme here's one of the couple by me:-caporip wrote:Dr. Harout wrote:Very nice window light.

I need to put that lens onto my new A77 already.

Is that shallow DOF intentional? I see his right eye is not in focus, otherwise
a nice capture of a "gritty" mood.

Thanks DocDr. Harout wrote:Very nice Andy. I like the shot very much.
Before reading your comment on the shot, I thought what a nice portrait of a sailor/mariner.
I'm sure he will keep this shot with pride.
