.Thank you for these wonderful entries, Birma. The descriptions that come with the photos are also very enlightening, and aptly observed. You add to the photographer's view with words. I believe both are essential for a photographer. I'm happy that the entries are very fitting with the title's theme and I will have a very, […]

  • Off Topic • My stroll through Yodobashi Camera June 30, 2015
This morning I was walking through Yodobashi Camera. Didn't even pick up any cameras, but just surveying the usual, extensive landscape of row after row after row of camera gear all begging to be touched. Anyway, it got me to thinking about my most expensive camera I have ever bought in my whole life, the […]

We know he stopped drinking recently due to health reasons, but were suspecting if he wastipping the flask in camera. Statistics: Posted by sury — Tue Jun 30, 2015 12:58 am

New Lightroom and ACR release candidates

Beta (release candidate) versions of new Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw can be downloaded free now from Adobe Labs. You won’t get these updates using the normal search for updates in Adobe apps, as they are not the final release and can not be found on Adobe.com Downloads yet.

These updates will work until April 30th by which time there will be a full release version. For Sony users, the updates provide better lens correction for the RX-1, support for the Hasselbad Lunar (NEX-7 based luxury camera), and lens profiles for the new type Sigma 18-250mm HSM Macro and 180mm prime macro lenses. There are also some improvements to the conversion and controls.
