Great pictures Sury. The first one is my favorite and in the last one I can almost hear her saying, "huh-uh Sury. I said one more toy, not two. Now be a good boy and put one of them back."Statistics: Posted by the_hefay — Thu Aug 27, 2015 8:05 pm

Sony’s Alpha 99 – mastery wrapped in dilemma

A99 with 28-75mm lens

The launch of and initial reaction to Sony’s Alpha 99 has been spoiled, for many, by the overpricing of the camera generally and to a greater degree in some key markets. The promise of the SLT design, and Sony’s move away from flapping mirrors and optical prisms with their associated collimation and alignment, was one […] . . . → Read More: Sony’s Alpha 99 – mastery wrapped in dilemma

Should NEX go full frame?

E-mount with full frame shown at sensor plane and flange plane

Sonyalpharumours has posted a firm rumour that there will be a full-frame NEX. Anyone who understands the design of camera bodies, and the geometry of optical projection, has known from the start that this was possible given the design of the E-mount. Those who have made uninformed comments (all over web forums!) to the effect that […] . . . → Read More: Should NEX go full frame?
